The Independent Travel division of First Choice, has announced the implementation of itour to support their Suncars and First4xtras brands. Itour is a revolutionary browser based travel reservations system, from BlueSky Travel Systems that has been developed using the latest technology from Oracle.
"We have been researching a number of reservation options that will provide
a modern system to support both current and future strategies for our range of
products", said Kyle Haughton, MD First Choice Independent Travel Division.
"With the current industry move towards more dynamic packaging and
component based pricing, we wanted a scaleable system in place that
enables us and our partners to sell inventory in the most effective way
possible and as the customer requires . This system will ultimately be of great
benefit to agents as well, in that they will quickly be able to access all our
products and efficiently earn commission in the process", continued Haughton
"Itour has been developed and designed to accommodate the many business models of modern tour operators, it supports multichannel growth and has been designed to effectively support external third party online bookings".

Itour from BlueSky Travel Systems works across all areas of travel product, enabling companies to monitor customer booking patterns, tailor individual requests and maximise sales. Everything from an individual tennis court booking, a round of golf to car hire or an additional flight to an airport parking space can be booked and dynamically packaged.
